Tours Above Clouds, Sensation beautifull On Skandagiri

Skandagiri is a place with natural charm of its beautiful, felt like a cloud high above. You will definitely feel how fresh the air, by looking at a vast expanse of clouds.

Skandagiri, Kalavara Also known as Durga, is an ancient mountain fortress located approximately 70 km from Bangalore city, and 3 km from Chikballapur in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is off Bellary Road (NH 7 Hyderabad-Bangalore Highway), and overlooks Nandi Hills, Muddenahalli, and Kanivenarayanapura. The peak is at an altitude of about 1350 meters. It is known as the "Adventurer's paradise" and features a beautiful night trek, altitude camping, stunning sunrise, and Serene and ocean like clouds.

There are 2 caves in the areas of this, one starts from the bottom and leads to the temple at the top and the other in the form of a road which is only about 30 feet. But they have never ditelusiri further, especially the first. Locals say that there are Pythons in the cave. Allegedly, there are 6 Samadhis in the cave.

How to get there
There are two routes leading to the Skandagiri:

First of NH-7, leading to Nandi Hills. At Nandi Hills turn right and proceed to the Village Kalawara through Muddenahalli (Bharath Rathna Sir.M.Visweswaraih birthplace). From Chikkaballapura proceed directly to the village Kalawara.

Both are with a few steps:
Step 1: From the international airport in Bangalore, via Bellary Road.
Step 2: Once the BIA at the intersection, you have to travel through Chikkaballapura. Follow the same path until you find a statue in Visweswaraih to the left.
Step 3: Take a left at this place and turn right at City Hall
Step 4: Straight back straight leads into papagni Mutt, which is the basis of Skandagiri.

Arriving at the village Kalawara not to ask about the direction misguided Omkara Jyoti Ashrama / Papagni Mutt. We began to travel legs "Trekking" can be said terrain is not so heavy. Trip is generally done in darkness, and the journey was more fun on the night of full moon. Trekkers usually starts to rise at around 2:00 am and aim to reach the peak around 5:30 to see the sunrise.
